Tiger Sports

St. Pius has been a successful member of the Dallas Parochial League since the inception of this wonderful parent/school lead league. Team participation begins in 5^th grade for both boys and girls and includes the following sports: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Cheerleading (7th & 8th grade girls), Pep Squad (3rd-6th grade girls), Tennis, Cross Country, Soccer (7th & 8th graders only), Swimming, and Track and Field.
Although the DPL does not sponsor a league for grades Kindergarten through 4^th, many SPX parents organize teams consisting of students for participation in city leagues in the area.

**Tiger Athletic Fees: Please be aware that the fees for Tiger Athletic Sports Participation will increase for the 2013-2014 school year. The new fees will be reflected on the SPX Sports Participation form which will be distributed for the upcoming 2013 Fall Sports Registrations (Cheerleading, Cross Country, Pep Squad, Football, Tennis, Swimming, and Volleyball). Tiger Athletics is proud to say we’ve not had an increase in sport fees since 2006; but increases in league fees and equipment costs over the past several years have necessitated this need. Be watching for info on our 2013 Fall Sport offerings and registration deadlines.
