Perhaps you have been taught by or taught with the Sisters of the Holy Spirit and Mary Immaculate. Through the years, it has become necessary for the Sisters to redefine their apostolate. They have gone from a predominately teaching order to one that now works in the foreign missions in Mexico and Zambia, as well as in pastoral ministry in Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. A few of the Sisters remain in teaching, hospital and hospice work.
