Annual Training Options

This training is required annually for all clergy, employees, and volunteers throughout the Diocese. To maintain your volunteer status at St. Pius, you must comply with all requirements to remain eligible.

To satisfy the diocesan annual training requirement, we have three options:1. On-site St. Pius X training sessions (by appointment with James Merkel effective July 2020).2. View and take online MinistrySafe training from the diocesan database. To view your database record and take the online training – follow the instructions below. Your record will automatically be updated and a notification sent to your parish safety officer.- Type your name and address (full name & address used on screening form must be used)
- Review your file ‘Click Update & Continue’ (include your email address for future reminders on annual trainings)
- From the next page choose the MinistrySafe training
- View, answer questions and submit on-line to complete your annual training.
3. The Diocesan-wide schedule is also available for additional training sessions at other parishes.
