St. Pius X has an excellent reception space available in addition to our beautiful Church Sanctuary. A St. Pius X Parishioner Fee of $600 reserves the sanctuary date. This fee covers the expense of the sanctuary, priest stipend, marriage preparation classes and an SPX wedding coordinator. A non-parishioner Fee of $1200 covers these fees as well.
A Musicians Fee of $175 is the base organist fee for a traditional wedding. Additional musicians and soloists may be added to the organist for an additional cost.
Hosting your reception onsite eases the stress of transportation to another location as well as any expense of parking for guests. We have three spaces on campus suitable for wedding receptions.
Communion Hall has a large reception area in addition to a sizable foyer with multiple male and female restrooms. The main reception room has a wall of plate-glass windows overlooking a central courtyard and provides ample space for dinner and dancing. The fee for Communion Hall is $1500 which reserves our most recent facility on campus. An attached commercial kitchen is also available for an additional fee. The maximum recommended capacity is 300 for a seated dinner/ 200 for dinner and dancing.
Parish Hall includes one large room, a full kitchen and one unisex bathroom. The Parish Hall fee of $500 reserves a hall located directly across the courtyard in front of the Church Sanctuary. The maximum recommended capacity is 210 for a seated Dinner/ 150 for dinner and dancing.
The Gymnasium fee of $2000 reserves the largest space on campus. The gym has a large foyer, multiple female and male restrooms and a large reception area in the sports court. The reservation fee for the gym includes covering the gym floor with carpet thus early reservations are suggested. The maximum recommended capacity is 425 for a seated dinner/ 300 for dinner and dancing.
Outside catering is permissible with kitchen space rental. Alcohol is allowed with specific TABC requirements. Use of SPX tables and chairs are included with the reservation of any space. The fees listed do not include the Diocese of Dallas Insurance fee of $100.00 which is mandatory when using any Diocese of Dallas entity facility.
