The Diocese of Dallas will be taking a group of high school teens to this year's NCYC. We will be departing the evening of November 20th and will return the evening of November 24th (please be aware students will miss 2 days of school). Cost is approximately $625 per person and we currently fundraising to pay for this awesome experience.
Our next fundraiser will be on November 9th - we will be selling hot dogs, chips and drinks at the SPX Craft Bazaar in Communion Hall.
You can also sponsor teens by sponsoring a teen from the Wish Tree in the church foyer. Just pick a name and dollar amount from our “Wish Tree” and return it with your check in an envelope either by mail or by dropping it by the church office by November 18th. For more information, please call the Office of Youth Ministry at (972) 682-3585.

What is NCYC?
The National Catholic Youth Conference is a powerful, biennial, three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers (of high school age) and their adult chaperones. More than 23,000 young people and their chaperones attended 2011 NCYC in Indianapolis.
The 2013 National Catholic Youth Conference is November 21-23, back in Indianapolis, with the theme Signed. Sealed. Delivered.
What Happens During NCYC?
The schedule includes keynote presentations, prayer, workshops, liturgy, and opportunities to participate in reconciliation and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, as well as recreational activities, concerts, and exhibits. A key component of NCYC is the thematic park which is a blend of traditional exhibit booths with interactive areas featuring service projects, games, recreation, live musical performances, arts and sports.
