The St. Pius X Church, School and Early Care Center are located in the thriving east Dallas community of Casa View.  Originally established in 1954, St. Pius X parish has grown to serve the needs of our local neighborhoods.  We would love to have you visit any of our facilities and be a part of this vibrant Church.  We excel in providing a combination of spiritual, educational and day care resources.  Come be a part of the best thing going on in east Dallas!

MASS SCHEDULE

 

Sunday:  8 am, 10 am, 11:30 am, 5:30 am – English

                 1 pm, 2:30 pm, 4 pm – Spanish

Saturday: 8 am and Vigil Mass 5 pm
¨

Weekdays:  6:15 am and 8 am

 

 

SACRAMENTAL

 

Reconciliation
The sacrament of reconciliation is administered each Saturday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the church.   All are welcome.

Additional times are available during the Christmas and Easter seasons.  Please check the bulletin for updates.

 

Baptism
Baptisms are performed in English on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 3:30 p.m..  Baptisms are performed in Spanish on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 11:30 a.m.  These dates can change due to Easter, Christmas or other special occasions.

Preparation Class for Parents and sponsors are held on a regular schedule.  Parents must be registered parishioners of St. Pius X three months prior to enrolling for a baptism class.  Please contact the church office at 972 279-6155 for times and to register for this class. 

 

Marriage

Parishioners should contact the church office at least 6 months prior to the planned wedding date to make arrangements.  A pre-marriage interview and preparation program will be arranged.

 

Faith Formation

If you are not Catholic, we welcome and invite you to contact the church office to participate in our R.C.I.A. program.  This program is under the direction of David Thurstlic.

MINISTRY TO THE SICK

Contact the church office any time day or night to request a priest hospital visit.  Emergency calls are handled 24 hours a day.

Non-emergency home-bound visits may be arranged by calling Jim Savidge at 214 327-5811 during normal daytime hours.  One of our lay ministers will happy to visit the shut-in and provide Communion.

 

MINISTRY TO THE NEEDY

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is available to help the needed.  Please contact them at 972 278-4815 to request help or to offer assistance to the Society.
