Training at other Parishes

You may attend training at St. Pius X or at other parishes.  To see a full list of training schedules click here and then select "Training Schedule".  Click on our links option below for other really good Safe Environment resources.

This training (including online option) is required on an annual basis for all volunteers working with minors and vulnerable adults throughout the Diocese.  If you plan on continuing to volunteer at St. Pius, you must comply with all requirements to remain eligible.  If you are unsure of your status, contact your own ministry head, or you may email Ginger Farrell at GFarrell@spxdallas.org  or call 972 279-6155.  Please note we can accept the Boy Scout Youth Protection training—send a copy of your certificate to the church office.

On-Line Training

Volunteers that are already qualified but need to complete their annual training should visit our On-line Training Videos section.  Select one of the multiple streaming videos with self tests to update your training.

These videos can be watched on your computer in the comfort of your own home or on your lunch break at work.  Follow the viewing instructions, complete the short test either electronically or in hard copy format.  If hard copy is selected, fax the completed test to 972 686-7510.  Questions can be directed to Ginger Farrell at GFarrell@spxdallas.org or by calling 972 279-6155.
