More 1990's Memories...

Cheese pizza! History class with Mrs. Empey The daily talking session with my friends outside after lunch I can still remember my prayer partner Yvonne.  She was always so nice to me and helped me understand the sacraments we were both about to take. Pizza Day Field trip in fourth grade to the Dallas Arboretum...rolling through the leaves down the hill on the football field and by the primary school building...Olympiad...art class with Mrs. Rubino (Hemminger). Ms. Empey singing "Goober Peas" and the play "Grease". All the friends I made at SPX. Friends, teachers, prayer partners, SPX sweethearts drill team, Gopher Bowl, Field Day/Olympics Day with other schools The Olympiad!  Prayer Partners and the Living Rosary, the many people that I met and had the opportunity to keep in touch with and all the wonderful teachers! Having a relationship with everybody in my class - it was not like that in high school or college! Mrs. Empey singing.... Digging for gold. The family ties and spirit within the community. I really loved working on our 8th grade play, Krazy Kamp.  Everyone put so much work into it and I felt like it was the one activity our whole grade was involved in.  I also loved our day at Enterprise City in 6th grade.  I was the radio station manager and was so excited to be able to earn "real money" and buy snacks and souvenirs.  I had a great time in Odyssey of the Mind as well, particularly my 8th grade year when our team used our "Marvelous Mentor" skit.  The rehearsals and "spontaneous" section practices were challenging but a lot of fun. Taking naps in pre-school and kindergarten.  All the school dances from 6th to 8th grade*!* Prayer Partners and definitely recess!!! Making the photo albums in 8th grade. Drill Team Meeting my best friend, and being taught by wonderful teachers. Winning DPL's Championship in Football for 1998-1999 season. Mrs. Empey! Prayer partner. Good memories of my friends and many of my teachers. Playing football with the Tigers.
